Did the outlet at Foxwoods. For the most part the shops at Tangers are all middle to upper tier in regards to affordability. The majority cater to the preppy (Banana Republic, Express, American Eagle, and the fast fashion of H&M). Lots of sales were going on at this time and some good deals were there. Scorpion Bar had really good food and drinks. As always I like the dark coziness of it.
Fun took my some for his birthday for his first time at a casino. I just miss the old slot machines you put the coins into not a big fan of video slots. Had a great time and was able to get our drinks pretty quickly compared to past visits so they have improved there
Bingo is great, you can win 700 in regular games and the progressive can easily hit six figures. I have played the table games a few times. The only issue is there aren't enough lower end tables to accommodate at times. If you are willing to pony up a little extra, the higher end tables will generally have room for you. The food options inside the casino need reworking as nothing is really nearby other than subway or the buffet. There are lots of options on one side but not the other.
Overall, if I were just on a day trip, I think the facilities would have earned a five-star rating, but the hotel accommodations killed it.
Our stay here has been great! We got a producer suite in the Fox Tower. We were able to get a VIP check in (and not stand in the 30 min line!). The room is great, the bathroom is fantastic, and they have all the amenities that you would expect. I had a massage at the G-spa and it was HEAVENLY! All the dining here is excellent, no matter where you go!
The Casino and interior are gorgeous and the staff was very helpful. My three-star rating comes from the hotel rooms in Pequot Tower. All the hallways and lobbies on the hotel floors are gorgeous and tasteful. The rooms themselves are quite spacious and the bathrooms are lit beautifully. Unfortunately, upon using the room's features, I encountered several issues. The showerhead functioned at half capacity because the nozzles were clogged. A friend staying in a different room found stray hairs and a razor guard in his tub, which was really gross. The beds made a rubbery, squeaky noise when I laid on them and were wildly uncomfortable. There also was no coffee machine in the room, which is a basic hotel amenity.
